nice numbers, i'm liking the torque. What i'm not liking is the price tag. 40 G's for a non MR?? Geez, thats almost 10G's more than a 2003 EVO VIII brand new and about 8 G's more than a brand new non MR IX!! Think I'll wait for them to work out the bugs this year, and then maybe picking up a 09(Ralliart though).

03 evo had 0 options, no SSS/ssl package, no nav etc
so 28K vs a no option X 32K is a 4K difference

a new IX with SSL was ~34K MSRP and no nav option, so a X SSS and IX SSL are within 1K of eachother.

MSRP IX no options is 31900 MSRP of the x no options is 32900.

a whopping 1K difference...now figure the X has AYC, bigger brakes, wider tires, better interior etc AND take into account that the US dollar is pretty much worthless right now...the X is a hell of a deal

the numbers are not bad at all considering the rich AFRs.

Perhaps by using ole skool tuning method (S-AFC) and lean it out a bit, more hp/tq can be achieved.

Yea, but the 03 evo had HID's standard, to get them in the evo X is like part of a $2000 package. So to compare them you have to add $2000 to the MSRP of the Evo X. I do agree the US dollar isnt worth anything.

This is true. I just think damn near 40G's is a little pricey thats all. But the MSRP isnt that bad. The options just really add up I guess. Think I'll pass on the EVO X, bring on the ralliart!!!

REALLY? WOW, now that must be one impressive Mini. I fooled around and optioned out a 2008 BMW 135i to 39,495.00. Thats a impressive car right there.

Mustang dyno reads much lower than dynojet; these numbers are pretty good for stock.
