unfortunatley MITSUBISHI USA won't bring the EVO X RS to America.. We should start a petition, NOW!

The 10 or so cars of that model that would sell don't even make up for the transport costs.

Aside from the shops and a select few hobbyists with money, there aren't many who will drop 30 grand on a car with steel wheels, generic brakes and suspension, no interior options, no stereo, no power locks or windows, and no options whatsoever.

there is the humangus amount of thread before, how poor equipped the RS was before. And the US RS was an unique one since had the brembos - enkeis- sparcos no speed limit . So can you imagine if the X come here with the real RS package ? With limited 130 mph?

Since americans tends to want to have everything in cheap price, and the RS is not that. Probaly that is why.
The RS is made for shops and racers. Not making money for Mitshubihi. Probably all around the world no dealer ship saw RS again after they left the lot. / exept TME/ Not so much in here...

I would like to have the RS coming here in the real JDM RS package. And i dont mind, if dont have what the X is probably made for. Comfort.
i'm up for petition.

Yea, you go do that.

I always find it amusing when the keyboard heroes whine about the X not having this or lacking that, then feel the need to tell us their going to but the $70,000 car instead. Right...let us know how that works out for you.

I woudn't discount an RS version coming to the US (although not in it's JDM guise). It's in Mitsubishi best interest to release the versions that make them the most money first and pick up the early adopters, then stagger the rollout with other versions. The VIII RS came out a year after the 'GSR' version was launched.
