Leather and a sunroof would probably push the weight well over 3600lbs (the aluminum roof would have to go).
Throw in the 9-speaker stereo system and it might hit 3700lbs.

I think the looks are more grown up... The evo' doesnt look as boy racer-ish... Plus the interior is nicer and you get some nice amenities like iPod hookup and bluetooth, great for talking and shifting

okay? lol what mods? a dirty k&n filter, and an HKS catback? lol next time at the track with the same mods i should be able to hit 12.6. i'm waiting for warmer weather so i'll actually have some traction. 12.82 @ 107.41 isn't bad for a damn near stock IX MR. thanks for trying though.
as for corners, that's all i do. i'm a road race/autocross guy. i don't do much if any str8 line racing. i only went to the track in the first place to prove my car could do 12's the way it sat. there's a lot of EVO hate around here.

mitsu says its 2 seconds faster around their track than the us evo' 9 ....
When I got my evo' 8 I remember how hard a time I had getting one without a sunroof and now everyone wants one? I can see the m3 guys crying over not having a sunroof being a cf roof, but they aren't ususally as hardcre as evo' fans were .... You have an aluminum lightweght roof, rejoice!

I think mitsu did not offer that because the "crowd target" who is suppose to be buying the X will put their own 100lb 18" woofer in it and other sound system stuff, because its not a rally sports car anymore, its a semi luxuary car. why not the moonroof/sunroof thingy, and why not driver/passenger heated mirrors. dunno?
