To wing...or not to wing?
That is the question...
Hey all, 1st time poster, long time lurker.
Been eagerly following the progress of the X and I have some quick questions for you.
Having never driven a vehicle with a rear wing, does it in any way impede your vision of the vehicles behind you? I have read that it actually blocks headlights, something that some people seem to appreciate. However, part of my driving strategy is to be aware of every vehicles placement around me so that I can react more quickly in an emergency situation if I need to. So, I don't see 'headlight blockage' as a positive, but rather, a negative. I can simply flip the rear view mirror if the lights behind are a bother
Also, is there a difference in the low version and the high version of the wing in regards to overall visibility and blocking headlights in your rear view?
In addition, don't you guys want to see cops coming up from behind?
Thanks in advance!! Look forward (or, in this case, backwards!), to your responses.

Of course it blocks your line of sight. Not as bad as you might think, my VIII wing blocks me from seeing drivers headlights.
I can see the cars, but it lines up perfectly to block the headlights.

The low wing, which I've heard is the same as the GTS wing, won't block anything out for you. Go with that if you really want one, but I personally like the giant wing & wouldn't mind blocking out truck lights. Remember, you do have 3 mirrors (I would hope), so if you can't see the car w/your rearview, you should def see them in the sides (unless it's an a-hole tail-gaiter).

The block is annoying sometimes, I find myself ducking to get a different angle at the cars/cops behind me...but all in all I like the look too much to do without it.

unless you get an extreme expensive one.
