Not an option on the X, either model I believe. It was mentioned in a review that they wished the X had this feature though.

I believe niether will have them. But if you get a X i'll give you the height adjustable seat from my GTS for your RECARO.

The steering wheel is height adjustable but doesn't telescope. I wish it did. It seems like I have to reach too far to get to the wheel when my seat is adjusted for the pedals.

You can always move the seat forward no? Or is it still not comfortable?

If I move the seat forward then my legs are cramped. I think its just a matter of getting used to the new cockpit. I sold my VIII RS a couple of months ago and have been borrowing a Lexus LS400 from a friend until the X became available. It's quite a change going from the LS400 to the Evo.

I was surprised I couldn't raise the seat, doesn't make much sense to me.

Haha, well yea, it's a Lexus. Their focus is luxury and comfort. No surprise there.

Are they quick? I've heard that the Lexus's are heavy cars. Never knew if this was true or not.

It's an older LS400 so I'm sure the newer cars have more power. They are huge so I would imagine they weigh in the 4500-5000lb range.

saw this link in another thread, the last item on the page looks like a adjustable height seat rail. from the translation it looks like it will rise the seat back 15mm or front 20mm and back 35mm. don't know how much difference it will make.

If you need these options you're probably driving in the wrong "driving" position anyways...

Thanks. That looks promising. Let's see if someone would import and sell that.
