Thanks for the clarification guys. I am actually partial to the taller wing., and I'm far from sold on the aero lip and side skirts. They look a little too tacked on and conspicuous.
So, it's good to know I can easily forgo the extra 2k expense for the aero kit. I gotta have the tall wing though, cause that's kind of an Evo trademark as far as I'm concerned.
I think I have an Evo X MR (in white) sometime in my future.....w/o the aero kit. I'll put that 2k into MORE POWER.

The Aero is ricey, cheap looking and adds height to an already too tall car. Once you lower the car all that plastic will be scraping everything in sight. Don't forget the weight!

I think the car is quite aerodynamic looking to begin with, and the aero package just makes it look tacky. A stock GSR with the SSS package, simply lower it a bit, and it'll look infinitely better than that aero kit.
