Question Monthly Payments

So I'm in the process of working out a deal on my New 08 GSR SSS, but I think I can work the dealer a little more. I was just wondering what you all are paying monthly for your evo's? I got screwed on my last purchase and owe quite a bit, so i have alot of negative equity that will roll over. I guess I can always just accept the high monthly payment now and pay more monthly until I can refinance.

I know this is kind of personal, but maybe you guys could give me a bit of a range that you all pay monthly?

Thanks!

Thanks! But I'm more looking for what others are paying so that I can get some real world numbers.

Dude, if you are upside down I'd forget buying another new car right now. You will end up paying waaaay more for a car that will decrease in value the moment you drive it off the lot. What are you going to do when the XI and XII evos come out and they are much better? You'll still be upside down on your preset loan and it'll just make you even more upside down if you trade it in yet again!

Put your foot down on your desires and exercise a little discipline...

Just my 2 cents anyway..

Good sound advise right here!!!! You do not want to roll over negative equity bro......it's not worth it.

Yeah I agree, but at the same time, I need to get out of the negative equity either way. So it really doesnt matter if it rolls over to the evo or stays where it is, right? I will just need to start paying it down and then refinance in a year or so.

Also - the same goes for the people who are paying markups. They are going to be in debt alot more than the car is worth at the beggining. I am paying MSRP.

Being upside down is the reason I won't buy one this year. I'm paying off almost all if not all of my 07 truck before I buy an X next year. I can afford two cars now, but it's to much to hassle and I hate being in debt. I owe a little over 20k on my truck, shouldn't be a problem getting that down below 10k then refinancing and bringing it lower this year. I'm putting my 4500 tax return towards it and I have another 5k put away to put towards the principle too. I just HATE owing anyone money especially a bank.

Everyone's real world payment wont help you much man.
I mean people don't have the same credit, or have the same income,
some pay in 1 year, and some pay in 7 years, Its all about what you can afford to pay.

I can tell you mine but,I dont know how it will help you much if any.

Right now Im paying $1250 per month / 24 month. If that help you any

Thanks man, thats all i was looking for. I understand it wont help my situation, but I just want to see what others are paying or what other people's situations were when they bought the car. I just graduated college and I'm making good money, its just that I'm not used to hearing these high numbers for car payments and it spooks me a little. But I remember how much I enjoyed my evo 8, and I know its worth the price we pay. Thanks again!

yeah rolling over neg. equity is a big thumbdown. IMO.
pretty soon the XI will come out and you will want that, thanks to the new X markups at the dealer you will add on more debt. i know i wouldnt want to pay 70k for the XI.
i was just at mitsu yesterday my friend is a carsalesman.
they sold 10 in a little over a week...
and most people were walking out the door with minimal down and 750minimum a month with average 5k dealer markup. most had 8-900 carpayments on 60 months.
insane. also they are pushing IX MRs for around 29k

u know the evo X will be popular. and you know they will make them for a while.... not like its a limited run and you can always get a dealertrade for what you want.... why not wait 10-12 months and see where the market is at... and where you are at. i hate dealermarkup. JERKS
