My IS350 had rattles every now and then (going over bumps etc.) but the one coming from my glove compartment is a CONSTANT rattle that is driving me INSANE! Everyone who keeps saying "it's an Evo, live with it" needs to have their heads checked. I am not going to be content with a brand new car that rattles.

Some of you guys are hilarious!
A brand new car isn't supposed to rattle. Hell, I have a 16 year old car and it doesn't rattle like that.
If it bothers you THAT much, then take it back to the dealer.

Me 2....
New Evo X - 800 miles. Been rattling since the 200 mile mark over any minor bump.
I have the base-stereo, and my rattle-sound seems to come from behind the stock radio. I've tried holding down on every dash part I can reach, and nothing quiets the noise....so it must be from inside the dash.
My previous car was a '05 G35 Coupe - that dash was very quiet except for one part - the driver's side air vent in cold weather.

I have the SSS w/o Navi and I've got at least a half dozen rattles. Admittedly though, I feel I'm at least somewhat responsible as everything was fine until I started playing around with my tire pressures. Conclusion: stay at the factory 32psi! It didn't do anything for my MPG and I've now earned myself a Saturday afternoon worth of tightening up the dash. It sounded like the windshield was going to pop out hitting expansion joints and bumps in the road running 35-36psi .

I think when mitsu produced the EXO 10, with hard plastics, they didnt put insulating foam in the back. Thats why the EVO 8, and 9 dont have the rattle because its made of vinyl with form behind it. So there a way to replace the top porton of the dash with Sude.. Just look @ the Dash..
