My old 2004 mach 1 had very few rattles.

As a matter of fact, my old 2007 WRX had way more rattles than my old Mustang.

Have you ever owned a Mustang?

Are you sure you're not mistaking those rattles in the mustang as horse shoes stomping the floor?

i take the good with the little bit of bad.....My old VIII used to have minor rattles here and there but the fun factor of the car outweighed that bad. I guess the reason its more noticeable on the X is because of all the insulating they did to improve quality inside the vehicle. You can take a high performance vehicle and force it to be a bmw (luxury-wise) I like the fact that the ar is still an aggressive machine. Little rattles are a good thing....

I have 1650 KM on it, and rattles like a ***** lol
I have installed HKS high power exhaust, When i push gas it rattles every where in in dash, I tried to see where the sound from, but no chance!
Now if i complain dealer, they say because of exhaust!

Ever notice that they're worse when it's cold out in the morning, then as the day progresses and gets warmer~65-70, they seem to quite down some or disappear totally. Weird. My old Rsx-S developed a squeak in the back speaker panel at 30k and that was worse to listen to then a few rattles here and there.

I can handle "ticking" sounding rattles.

But "squeaky" rattles I can't stand.

Thank gosh my car doesn't have the squeaky rattles...unless it's cold outside.
