How old is your child? What type of child seat is it? Does it need to recline? That is one of the reasons I got rid of my VIII was because we had to take her car everywhere because she would have to have her knees in the dash to fully recline it. Otherwise I was driving 80 miles a day to work and not able to drive it on the weekend with the family.

my son is 15mo old. the seat is a britax, the biggest one they sell. the problem with my 05 was that the passenger seat had to be all the way forward. now my son has a little more room and the passenger has alot more room. the opening is also easier to get him in and out of.
