EVO X gears

someone that has the EVO X can help me please....

someone knows the MAX speed per GEAR of the car...

like how many km/h per gear in the redline..... the manual version with 5 gears...

thanks for any feedback!!

Here's the speed (MPH) in each gear at 7000 RPM

I'll let you convert it to KM/H.


7000RPM - 38.6mph 56.5mph 76.6mph 100.6mph 144.9mph

basically, at 7000rpm, the top speed is 144.9mph?

you can just hit 60 mph in 2nd gear. Thats how its quicker than the STI

im talking about MAX REVS pear gear....

7000 looks to be the redline from what the tach shows. Not sure where the rev limiter kicks in at though.

Yes. That is correct for a 5 speed manual 2008 Lancer Evolution GSR.

The tach shows redline at 7000RPM but fuel cut is 7500 or 7600RPM

since the fuelcut is 7500 it worth the max revs posible...

so i will use all the 7500 RPMS right!?

The power drop off will determine when you shift. Those mph are at 7500rpms, far past the intended use or redline.

confirmed.. mine hits fuel cut @ 7500RPMs... and the speeds listed above are correct... at least through 4th gear... haven't run 5th all the way yet... yet lol

No the power from the stock turbo falls off. Its best to shift around 7000-7200PM on the stock turbo.
