Us Evo X owners aren't as smart as the more dedicated VIII/IX clan.

left hand tires????? kinda like blinker fluid and a muffler bearing right???? Also if they are left hand tires only make sure they have the correct seasonal air in the tires. It sux to have winter air in your tires during the spring and summer.

It makes sense if you think about it. Four identical tires with the same part of the tire facing away from the car. 2 of them will be flipped 180 degrees

Wouldn't directional tires have "lefts" and "rights"... ???

Wheel to wheel yes but the tires don't come in a box saying "this goes on the left". Once mounted then yes it would be a left or right hand wheel and tire package. Directional are side specific only after being mounted. I don't know of a single tire manufacturer that markets left and right TIRES. Plus its all in good fun I was just messing around. I like that metric crescent wrench though.

Right. Now that I think about it for a minute, I remember that when the tires arrived for my '95 VR4 all four tires were stacked on top of eachother and were all same... but there was no "outside" marked on the tires, i guess thats the difference.

Thanks for making me feel stupid though

The Evo X is built for a large oval track like in NASCAR...you are only supposed to turn left. Fact.

If the tire has a directional arrow on it and one sidewall is designated as being outside then isn't that tire forced to be a left or right tire?
