I can't wait to own one of these. I have the money right now, but I keep convincing myself that it would be foolish to spend my house money on a car My local Mitsu dealer must be getting tired of me stopping there twice a week just to drool over these 7 or 8 X's that they have in thier lots.
The $5000 markup doesn't help
BTW - I currently own a Subie.

sadly my first post on these forums are going to be about dealers...
I bought my x at the end of jan here in las vegas <---- first one in town.
the dealership had an 8k markup on it. The first night in there i told them i would not be paying ANY mark up at all. They responded with " aww come on, this is a hot car, you gotta pay something" I said no.. that i could drive 5 hours down to AZ and pay ZERO mark up. the dealer called me the next day and told me they would match the deal i had in AZ... i said i would be in at the end of the week to talk more with them.... the very next day they called again and said they would beat the Az price.. i got mine with the areo package for 1k under msrp.. not a great deal... but 9k cheaper than the first time i walked in the door.
moral of the story.... dont pay mark ups..... ever.
BTW before you get to negotiating prices, make sure you have all of your stuff back in your possesion before you start. like keys, ID, w/e you gave them. they will use that to keep you trapped there and pressure you...
but everyone knows this right?
p.s. CRACK THE ECU already!!!!!
