My insurance went down from 200 month to 105 a month by trading in my evo ix for the X, also I purchased lojack which I think is the main factor why my insurance went down so much.

my insurance went UP when i changed from my evo ix to the evo x. no new tickets or accidents, nothing else that would have caused the increase.. and i do have a clean record. i also asked about the 7 airbags (since i've been hearing rumors that it's supposed to help), but my agent said that it didn't matter. every insurance company is different, however.

my premium per year on my evo ix was about $1250 (rounded off) w/ a multi-car discount; it never exceed $1300. my new premium on the evo x is $1630. i have AAA and live in so cal. i've been w/ AAA for over 8 yrs, and am now going to look for another insurance company. boo~

I pay 469 every 6 for the GTS, after april 25th it goes down to 289 every 6 months... My agent told me I'd see a 15 dollar difference (give or take)! I'm also going to ask about the single parent discount, since I have full custody of my daughter (my love, my life) Although I do have a 1000 deductible (BOO)! I now have 18 days left before my house close's ( So far every thing's been going real smooth, thank GOD)! GOD WILLING, I'll be in an x by the 20th, my dealership has the most X's in my area, but no PBP... Looks like they'll be hunting me one down with S.S.S and aero!

P.S. Little off topic, but I must add the GTS holds it's own, sure big brother crush's my little GTS but when both are pared together they compliment one another rather than take away (i.e. previous gen evo's vs base lancer). BTW I'm defiantly buying my daughter a recaro baby seat to match the recaro's up front!

wow you guys are so lucky, haha. im 19 and im even on my grandmas plan and i pay 2100 a year for my GTS. ive been thinking about the ralliart or the evo too and i don't even wanna know what that will cost, probably like 3000 a year or more. that is with 2 tickets tho which raised it like 632 this year. hopefully next year is better when i turn 20 and then 21.

Went from a GTS to an Evo X and insurance went up about $8 a month. State farm has the MR in their online system but could pull the GSR up when they put the VIN number in.

overachiever, who are you insured with? I live in socal too and i'm looking around for insurance on my x when i get it, so knowing this ahead of time will be really helpful...TIA

Any others in socal that have seen drops in going from a VIII or IX to a X, please post where/who you are insured...this information is very helpful..
