First EVO X in U.K.
Evo X - Got it!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, this isn't to show off or anything but to put some people out of their misery...the deliveries have started as I picked mine up at 10am this morning. Unfortunately I could only put 13 miles on the clock today but fully intend to use it well over the weekend. First impressions on my brief journey......and you may not want to hear this is....what a refined car...the most refined I have ever owned! Coming from a Scooby it is comfortable, the interior is actually a rather nice place to be and the toys with the gsr spec are fun.....not having driven any Evo before this is not what I was expecting. I would have loved it raw like my other cars, but I actually think my wife will enjoy driving this car. See I told you that you may not like it!
Power delivery is very smooth, very easy to drive round town, light clutch pedal, no jerkiness at low revs and stop start. The brakes bite very quickly at low speeds and well that's it so far. I will report back tomorrow.
I didn't buy a BMW did I? No I checked, it defo says Evo X on the back. I am sure its personality will change when pushed, but so far she is a ***** cat.
One strange thing is the very low driving postion, not relative to the road but the lower line of the window. You look like a midget in it from the outside. Haven't discovered whether you can raise the seat yet!
More tomorrow if you are interested ...
