I'm about 5'5" and I feel the seat height is a little low, as well. I was thinking of throwing some washers in theres, as well. Is it safe to do this??

the seat feels about the same height. the problem is the doors are huge and the dashboard design is bigger plus, the whole front pert of the inside seems to be higher.
im 5'6 but im skinny. so i feel like a grandma in the X. my friend is 5'6 but he's fat so his *** gives him enough height to see better. ima have to use a pillow or something.
in the other evos i feel perfectly fit into the car. in the X, no matter what I do with the seat, i just dont see enough to feel right.
it feels like this....
(_,,__,,_) <-Car
---- <-normal line of sight
. <-my line of sight.... lol

i see hald the road and half the dashboard. it feels like an airplane sim. u dont see **** except what's above.

I still do not feel comfortable with the seating position (btw I'm 5'5). But it seems Japanparts finally has the HKS seat rails available for order.

Im 5"11 and think the height is perfect beside when a seat is lower you feel the gcar more as well as the gforce when taking corners it helps. but if you are shorter than 5"8 it might become a issue.

I agree completely with this statement right here. I am 6'1 and I fit perfectly in the X and with my helmet on I still have plenty of roomm
Also if i ever see a grown man driving a car, sitting on a pillow...i would have no choice but to laugh at them. it wouldnt be anything personnel but that would be funny as hell

[quote=ShadowGT-S;5417837]I also feel the seating position is kind of low. But seems like HKSkansai made a seat rail to adjust the height.
Strictly speaking; HKS Kansai supply *two* types of Rail; one can be used to raise the Seat height in the X, and can alter the fore-aft "tilt" of the seat

The other to lower the Seat height;

My first post here and I picked up the Evo after selling my 2000 Camaro SS. I guess I was used to the low seating position and low visibility of the camaro. The X feels like I sit a lot higher and the visibility to me is great.
Both cars you cannot see the hood at all, so I'm used to that. Except the hood on the X is 20x smaller.
I'm happy with the seats and hieght.
