I sold my E60 M5 after I got the X

Hi all,

After getting my red X, I decided to sell my E60 M5. I used to have an VIII w/c had headworks, intake/exhaust/cams/cam gears/tuning but didn't like the 'tin can' feel inside. With the X, I thought that it was comfortable enough to take on a daily drive once in a while hence the redundancy for the M5. Although the M5 was a few notched higher in terms of build quality and power, I decided that keeping the X was a wiser decision if I got back my Porsche seat back on (I used to own a 7 GT3). I was lucky to find a low mileage (5K miles) white '02 GT2 - the last of the pure turbo charged/rear wheel drive 911's and closed the deal (added $47K to the trade).

Anyway, all I'm saying is I love the X!!!!

What other cars were you considering besides the Evo X? Why not 135i?

The X's are ridiculously priced here. With taxes it cost me US$71.4K. You guys never had it so good in the US. Cheap cars, fuel and food! The GT2 cost me US$190K and that's an '02 model. Can you believe that?

Will post pics as soon as possible as I'm on a trip w/ the family next week. Cheers!

awesome!

we had a V10 M5, 997 gt3, etc etc... we absolutely love our little japanese cars for the money though.....

everything else we seem to get bored with (even our lotus exige)... but we never tire of the evo's and sti's....

good to see you like your X, i absolutely LOVE mine.
