Talon 66 is correct, you should not have any issues especially if the gauges are mounted low on the pillar like this.

So all the worrying aside...my question still goes unanswered. Are there any in production already or any in development. I'm not worried about "what if's"

Chances are that if I get in a wreck getting clocked by my gauges is going to be the least of my concerns...

I'm just not a huge fan of the center/clock pods otherwise the solution would be simple, ditch the a pillar idea and get a center pod. IMO its easier to monitor stuff thats practically at eye level and slightly left then to turn and look down at the middle of the dash and overall just a aesthetics things. Thanks

I haven't heard anything yet about a company seriously producing pillar pods.

On another note, who the hell tagged civic, si, ion, and redline for this thread? Not only are they completely irrelevant and defeat the purpose of tags, but how would this thread aid someone searching for those terms?

LOL! "who the hello tagged civic, si, ion and redline" <- one of the funniest things I ever read.

I spoke with Rexpeed and they have a carbon fiber one in the works and supposedly a FRP version afterwards.

What? That is just gauges mounted to the pillar, not a pillar pod.

Hey guys, I'm working on becoming a vendor and selling these pods. Can't sell on here if not a vendor. But how many of you would be interested? I'm think about $140 and I need your existing pillar. I know it sounds high but this is for glue, fiberglass, primer, paint, and 2 days worth of work. Just seein whos interested
