Yeah, I've got the same problem... Every time I fill it up, I have to go back after just a couple of days :-P.

But seriously, no problems like what you're describing here. Maybe the filler neck is bent or something? Creates a bubble and what not. Definately check it out.

Happened to me once so far. I was confused when I drove away and my tank was half full. Not really an issue, though.

I filled with my tank already half full, just because I was curious. I will still able to fill in 7.7 gallons with no problem.

Accordion pumps aren't that bad..

Sometimes the pump hose gets air in it.. That can also cause it to stop early.. But I'd definately take it in to get looked at..

No problems with either Evo...but had this issue with my 06 350Z. I don't think it's the car...but the pumps you're using. The 350 would only have problems at 76 stations for some reason. Which sucked because that was the primary brand I used.

We have those accordian pumps here in St. Louis. All of our cars do that on occasion. Its nice when you get out of town and dont have to deal with those.

Buy my Evo 8 was the worst. I always had the most problem with it.

This is the fix for your problem. My IX did this. Just pull the nozzel out about half way so air can get in. Trust me.
