people start driving crazy on the expressway around me. minivans mash the gas from stoplights. sort of ridiculous the attention these cars attract! this is a IX, but i'm sure the same applies to the X.

And to the girls issue. I've gotten some extra attention from a few girls. Maybe they are the exception but they wanted to ride. One said that she loves the feeling of shifting through the gears. And then when I would floor it they loved it more. Anyway, girls don't seem to mind the brand as much as you might think. Just take em for a ride.

And lastly it isn't a chick mobile. But lets face it, the whole having a chick magnet car is over-hyped. Chicks don't care as much about cars, having a nice car isn't going to make up for being a tard.

I get quite a bit of attention in this car.

I haven't gotten a ton of attention in the car as of yet, although the color tends to draw eyes toward it. I've gotten a bunch of stares, a bunch of double takes, and etc...but it's not like we're driving exotics here.

The only people I've had rev on me so far are 1 POS Volkswagen Corrado (I do like the car...but this one was a POS) and a SUPER riced out 96-97 Civic coupe. In both cases they were going the opposite direction and their female passengers looked quite embarassed.

Oh, and I've had a lot of people trying to follow my pace on on/off ramps. Had one of those Buick Scrapers (22" wheels on a $1000 car) almost hit the guard rail trying to keep up with me in a corner.

For those thinking that this car will pick up chicks...you're either chasing 16 year old girls...or smoking a lot of crack.

It was a joke about the whole girls things, taken out of context. The girls I've seen defiantly take a second shot, not to mention I got plenty of stares once again today. The X actually replace's my need for a girlfriend any way, what little time I'm not spending with my daughter or family I devote to the X, gotta keep her clean!

Me too. I had a camry that tried to accerate and try to block me from merging. Obviously, I pulled away with ease. Most people wouldn't know if it's an EVO or a GTS Lancer.

Exactly...I'm really considering popping the wing off of mine like I did with my 8.

I'm glad the evo looks like the lancer! Keeps the cops from always acting like dicks. Like following you around just cause you have an evo.
