I want another Evo quite bad, but until I get all my stuff paid off (all I have left is the house), I won't pick up another. I still troll, and if the right Evo comes along, be it a 8,9, or 10, I will pounce, but now that I have a little girl, I have to make sure she is taken care of.

However, I remember the days of making 40k per year, and driving a 32k Evo . Now I make 8x that, but spend nothing on cars , but the wife makes up for it on stuff (and I wish I coudl tell you what it is, but I can't, it is stuff).

Heck I thought you were a brain surgeon or corporate lawyer or something. But I should have known that wasn't the case or else you would have been talking about your a BMW, Benz or Land Rover. Of course you might have one of those too!

I'll keep you in mind for when I'm ready to buy my 5.1 surround system to go with the 50" plasma HD I just got. Maybe I'll get a special "Evo owner" price?

EDIT: Retracting any hints of rudeness.

Whatever is left after car goes towards gas anyways lol. I don't care, I am 25 and single with very little bills. I can afford it. Wtf else am I gonna spend my money on? I got bored of hookers lol. Some of you are posting like 10-20% only for the car...god damn how much money do you make? that has to be like over 100k a year to only come out to 8-15% for the car annually. I make like 17 grand a year lol

invest your money =] i make as mush as you do, i want the car but ill do that once my money can make at least 200 bucks a month without me doing anything. then once i get there ill see if i can afford it..

check out "UL index" thru aviva... the returns are impressive on your money. and its flexible and tax deferred. thats where im putting my money. if your company matches a certain % of your income in a 401k then hell do that to, put that much into it as well, no more than they match cuz then its not worth it.

but im only 18 so what do i know hahahah =] thats just my take and i have bin in love with evos for 2 years now since i had my 95 eclipse gst =]

ill have an evo soon enough. =]

Be kind to your your fellow evo pals.

I dropped out of high school at 16, it took me 6 years to finally get my degree(very very hard to do(but I was tired of being called a looser that would not add up to anything) and never could keep a job because I despised the white collar world of politics.

Up until 8 years ago my family and I lived on my $14 hour job. You never know where someone has been or how they got there. Hell I still can't spell right half the time!!!

Best post ever. I'm 25 and still trying to finish a degree, I hate it when people give me a hard time and ask why I haven't finished yet. I started later and lost more than 2 years just working around. Some people have lots of luck in the work force, I am one of those people who if I didn't attempt to go to school I would be stuck in a 6 dollar job.

Great advice for someone 18 years old. I wasn't even thinking about 401k at 18 (I'm 31 now...). I'm just getting my retirement rolling while I have friends who are 40+ & haven't begun to start theirs yet. Good job on starting early.

(and not to be a grammar ****, I know you say you can't spell... but it's "much." Mush is a totally different word altogether.... sounds like you grew up with sled dogs, lol)

I actually think he meant me when I suggested that some people on here may not know how to use a calculator. I retracted the comment from my posting even though it was just a jab joke but could be taken wrong.
