yes you do... in a 401k you pay taxes after the fact..... you ALWAYS pay tax... its when and on what amount is what matters. and can make the difference.

yeah yeah, my bad. you do pay tax on it just if you are withdrawing the money after you retire then your going to be in the lowest tax bracket since you have no income.

oh really? i thought you where taxed as if it where part of your income if you received 50 g then its like you made 50gs that year?
