have the VIN's for the MR's been released yet, are we on track for June?
My lease expires July, so I am REALLY hoping, any news?

I'd think if someone on the board had an MR on order and had received a VIN or delivery date they would have already posted it...then again maybe South Coast can chime in.

 

I was told my SCM that their already on the boat and on the way over. My local Mitsu dealer told me the same and said mid May.

 

I literally just talked to Sam at South Coast & asked when I should buy a plane ticket to get down there. I asked him late May or early June & he replied "early June." I do have an MR on reserve w/them by the way.

I went to my local Mitsu dealer last week and they said they had someone come out from HQ and tell them all about the MR and the word is late May, Early June still.

 

Sam posted on another forum saying that they are scheduled to get them on/around June 10th, but are trying to push for an earlier date.

 

Damnit! This is so irritating. Anyone who's been posting here since at least January '08 has seen the MR's release date go back and back and back!

Every new month it gets pushed back a month. Freakin' frustrating!!!

 

How do you guys negotiate on price? I want to buy my Evo X next spring and I'm just trying to figure out how not to over pay.

 

I'm actually planning on doing the exact same. By then I hope to pick up lightly used one or a new one on the cheap. Is that foreseeable for about the same time next year?

 

I usually negotiate a price on trade in. If no trade is involve, i just ask for as many free stuff as i can get, free tint, free areo kit, free protection package, stuff like that.

 

If that date is accurate, disappointing indeed, may have to just give in and 335i it.

late June/early July for the east coast... I have 3-5 coming.... they say they are built already
