Wanted to share my insights and opinions too
I testdrove my friends 10 in the streets of Manila, and all I can say is that the 10 can be very comparable to the BMW M3 and Audi RS4 due to its comfort and power. In fact after driving the 10, I wanted to exchange my Evo 5 with him for a day just to feel more comfortable. The Evo 10 is huge and pig heavy compared to the feeble lightweight Evo 5. Acceleration, obviously the 5 has the edge because it way lighter than the 10 and its short gear ratios give it faster acceleration from the corners. Top speed wise, I think the 10 has the edge and the 10 feels safer to do Vmax runs on our highways. The Evo 5 is scary once you hit 240kph.
IMO, lets just say the Lancer Evo has matured and became more classy. Great audio, low noise, bigger legroom, awesome comfort features... its a perfect car for those who wants a balance of speed and power...
In my case though, I am willing to sacrifice comfort for power

AYC has always existed on the old Evos, from the Evo V GSR upwards. Except ACD only came out on the VII. ACD+SAYC really works. Too bad I sold my VII just to get the much older and brutal V.
