I don't have the specs, but we can extrapolate from the evo 9 specs, which runs the 1/4 mile at 13.3s (rule of thumb is 100lbs = .1sec) , that the evo 6 TME would run around 12.7s in stock form. I'd guess 0-60 in mid to low 4s.

Sounds about right. The Evo 6 for me is the pinnacle of Lancer Evo performance and development. Forget the ACD in the CT9As or the S-AWC in the X, the Evo 6 had the right combination of power, handling and weight to put more expensive sports cars on notice. Mitsu really needs to revive this formula, that way it is, the X is a bloated pig of a sports sedan and I'm afraid the next versions will be the same or worst.

No doubt cars are heavier these days, but crashes that used to be fatal 10-20 years ago are now survivable. I am in the minority on this one, but I'd be willing to pay pretty penny for an all out (on-diet :-) edition that used carbon fiber body panels (similar to the current Z06) light glass etc to try to keep the weight closer to 3000lb; and while they were at it up the engine output to 400hp.

Wink

Nice ride, but if I had to make the choice all over again (and I did have the choice to buy a Evo VI TME while I lived in Japan)...I'd still buy my Evo IV...can't beat the HUGE fog lamps!!
