I think each year of these cars is gonna be RARE...

Remember how rare the Integra Type R was? it was GREAT for resale value too.

^^ Yea man, i think lancers and evos will have better resale values coming up. the new styling is great and the technology features offered are just what people will really need in the coming years

agreed. type rs still sell for around 15!! im really hoping the evos value will hold like that!

My concern with this is that it will severely limit domestic development of parts. The market is just too small.

Nah. The Elise/Exige parts market is plenty strong and they don't sell that many in a quarter. There aren't 10 shops making complete lines, but there is a complete array of parts from a couple vendors.
