Agreed
The thing I thought was really odd is that the driver complained about understeer on the Evo: here's a video that shows this test...(track action starts about 1:25).

Wow im suprised the STI could keep up with the evo. Even with all the suspension and power mods. I should have bought an evo because I wouldnt have to spend a penny on mods unlike the wimpy STI that has to spend five grand on mods just to keep up. I wish this artical came out before I bought an STI. I bet when mitsu comes out with their hatch The STI will have an even harder time keeping up.

I really like the STI and EVO X. I got an EVOX mostly cause it won all the comparos and I like a sedan better, but my feelings wouldnt be hurt if I had to have the STI its a kick *** car. I dont think equally moded cars would yeild the same results, and second this is supppose to be the 2.0l jdm version we cant even get that in the US so comparison sucks to me.

It's simple... the factory suspension set-up for the STi's suck. 0 camber, wimpy swaybars, dunlops lol
Once you modify the car eveything goes out the window. Case in point...

That's just simple mods... The same goes for the Evo, simple mods... big difference.
