Blown off?!

My Upper IC pipe just blew off on the highway in 5th gear. The lower rubber holding it came off. Check engine light came on and I drove about 1 mile more home. Any damage...help please. If I just put it back on will it be fine?

Not that big of a deal...I've seen it happen tons of times at the track. Just tighten things back up and you're on your way.

I would spray that coupler before putting it back on. Unless you're pushing big boost you should be fine by just cranking down the stock clamps, let me guess they were never checked before the one blew off.

Few, its all good. Everything is fine. It scared the Jebus out of me. Heard a pop when it blew off and the turbo wasn't spooling at all. It is bolted on tight right now and it is good. It is hard as hell to reach and bolt the rubber hose behind the bumper for crying out loud.

Its not hard to remove the front bumper. I could do it on the highway in 10 minutes or less.

lol your going to be okay....that already happend to me twice already i just changed the normal claps to the T Bolt Clap...those things will for sure stay on cause the UICP kinda pulls back towards the back of the engine so its very easy for that piping to come off

Same thing happened to me, it will be fine. Just invest in some better clamps.
