Which to buy?
So I'm like a month or two away from getting a new evo x, but my friend wants to sell his 06 IX with 9k miles for 26, and he said i get the first offer to buy it.
I cant decide if its worth it to go ahead and get the new one for 34+ or if i should just settle for the slightly used with less payments.
I was planning on getting a white X...
The IX is blue with minor mods like an exhaust and intake and Maybe something done to the computer im not sure....
So do you guys think its worth the money to get something new, seems a lil bigger, with a little nicer ride on the highway? Or go for the faster but older car?

I dont plan on getting to crazy with it. I wanna use it as a dd so i dont wanna void the warranty right away. If i get the X, probably just an intake and exhaust and some wheels or something. Thats about it...

I 'd go with the IX if it was around 24k range , new EVOs cost 31-33 range , so that gives me break on the payments and used car is a better option
If the IX is 26 and new X is 31 , not so good, go with the X for 5k more ( its worth buying a new over 2 year old car)

IX... tons of aftermarket support, knowledge, and community exist for it while Evo X is still being proven... plus you'll have more money available for mods!!!

Id buy X on looks alone. I like the IX when it came out, but I just couldnt deal with the looks. The X just looks better. Plus you can get a X for low 30s brand new. Im sure you are going to get tons of replies on the performance and how ix is better, but X is running 10s on stock turbo after only being out less than a year.

here is a link of my car running in CA.
