On my X GSR -- 15-16mpg in town, 25mpg at 65mph on the highway, 6.5mpg at Mid Ohio. This all was before reflash #2.

What are these reflashes people speak of?

and not to hijack the thread, but on a similar subject, would it be possible to increase fuel economy and power from a tune?

248.5 miles one tank and filled it up with 13.349 Gallons of gas last week (almost didn't make it to the gas station o.o)

and every other tank I drive to like 230 miles and fill up 12.3 gallons

city 18-20 mpg and highway about 23-28 depends what I cruise on (60-72) =\

Well I bought my scooter.... I know its not the manliest thing I've ever done, but its one of the steps I'm taking in order to get the Evo. I also drive a lot so I don't want to rack up the miles too fast on the car. I should be averaging 80 mpg on weekdays and i'm guessing 10-14 on weekends (when I take the evo out for some fun).

Reflash = tuning of the stock ECU (rather than stand-alone).

So that should answer both questions.

When I read all these threads it may think my car has a problem.

I usually do 17-18mpg. even if I reset the computer while cruising at 65-70mph on highway after 5 miles it average 22mpg. this is the best mpg I can get.
And I never get this as I never did 200 miles of highway.
driving agressively on track I did 4.7 mpg

21-24mpg on reflash #2. For some reason it gets like 13-15mpg when I first start the car. WTF.

With mixed driving (70% city 30% hwy) I can score maybe 14.5 to 19MPG if I'm nice with it. Straight freeway at 80mph, I can get it to 20-23MPG. Most of the time I keep the SST in Normal mode; but she just passed break-in so Sport mode has become a good option.......
