I was already quoted $38,500 fully loaded MR... Bad time to buy right now... Wait a few months and the prices are going to fall even harder.. I think you can get a fully loaded 2008 MR for $34-$35K in January of '09...

Of course they will get cheaper as time goes on, i mean by january 09, you could say might as well wait for the 2010's which might be even better.

I can tell you in NC, they are still trying to get 45k, OTD. I told them I would wait, or next time I go West, pick one up.

They'll sell for at least $1000 off MSRP in Ottawa, ON for either the GSR or MR. I wasn't even really negotiating price and they mentioned that.

This is how I keep an eye on the market.

New Evo X listings at cars.com

You have to scroll to find the MRs. The price has been starting to drop a little, but not too much yet.

On a side note, here is a sweet 700 mile used MR deal in Cali I saw.

I do the same thing. I bought my VIII used from a guy on these boards who was begging to get out of his loan. I'm hoping I can find the same deal here soon.

I got mine at south coast

In Cosa Mesa. I was pricing out a new GSR base for $29,999, but ended up buying a used one with 100 miles on it for $28k. I'm sure you can get a great deal on an MR. They're good to work with and I drove it home to Idaho thanks to George. Go in and ask for George. Have him take you for a test drive. He's an X owner himself so he'll talk straight with ya.

Tell him Jim from Idaho sent you.
