Man, we have to pay something like 8000$ more than you guys for the same car... at least, let them give us a package.
Now at least I can explain why the X is more expensive in Canada... because they make us pay 8000$ for a jacket, Oakley glasses and some cleaning stuff... Makes sense.

I wonder if they have the same deal with the MR. If not for the MR I woulda bought a GSR in February so would have definately been eligable for the care package. Time to contact the Mitsubishi rep.

The fact that we can drive across the border, pick up the car for 8-10k less and come back, only to have our warranty revoked really says somthing.
Mitsu dealers do much better in Canada than in the US, yet them, like almost all car manufacturers are charging us the same markup on cars that they were charging when our dollar was less than $0.80 USD. Frankly, I refuse to support my local dealer because they tried to take me to the cleaners, they laughed when I said I'd pay cash for the car if they give me a deal (anything, even a ****ing free tint and detailing) and they're sitting on about 10 Evo's for well over a month now.
When my lease ends on my Acura I'm gonna head to the states and have my car shipped back here for a lot less. Not much point in buying an Evo now anyway, Summers over soon and all my track days are passed. I'll wait til spring.

There's a big difference between Europe and Canada...

You`re lucky that they just changed the bumper law, now you can actually import an Evo X from the states
