for the front 2 flaps I didn't install the 2 screws where they tell you to drill a hole. So I'm only using 3 screws to hold them up and it holds up just fine

Nice. I had it like that but then installed them it it feels a bit more sturdy. I didn't really care about two small holes in the fender liner. You don't need to drill. I just poked through with an ice pick and the screwed the screw through that.

You dont drill a hole into your car. Just into the plastic wheel lining stuff. I just pushed the screw to get it started and it went right in. Nothing is damaged, no metal scratched and no rust.
