When I'll be doing this, I'll swap it further up tho I'm pretty sure. Having the BOV in the open like that doesn't feel right to me and the fact it can be seen isn't really cop friendly either... Where could I locate it room whise? Would it make a big difference if it was located on the UICP after the intercooler, because this looks like it's before the IC right?

i checked where i ordered the bov from before replying to this message and it says they make a 6, 8, 10,11. i ordered it with an 8. here is the link.

-9 is the spring to use. I've tried the -7 which was too light and hung wide open at idle, and I've tried the -12 which was way too stiff and never opened to vent even at full boost. The -9 spring keeps the valve closed at idle but allows it to open properly when it needs to vent.

The page you linked to is for the Tial Q BOV. You've got the original 50mm like I have. For the 50mm, the springs are rated at -7, -9, -11, -12psi - http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/w3_tial_bov50_sp.pdf
