I finally tweaked mine! My passenger side was so much lower than the drivers side I couldn't see anything! My drivers side could be higher, but I don't want to blind anyone, so not going to mess with that one!

I've tried to adjust mine using an 8 inch phillips #2 but I cant seem to engage the gears. Am I not pushing this in far enough? I don't want to break anything.

Hi everyone,
I'm late to the game for this topic, I've search all around the place and can't find the how-to I need.
I haven't really noticed my lights pointing lower than normal since i drive on a crowded road. But these days I'm out at 5:30am and not much cars and realized that my headlights are pointing really low. I can barely see 20 yards.
So I drive a 2010 X GSR. with stock HID.
I found a video online about evo head light adjustment but it tells me to use a 10mm socket which I don't have. Then this forum tells me to use a 8" Philip screwdriver which I have and basing on the photo from the top of this thread (it looks like I have that option), my 8 screwdriver is a thin one, I don't know if that matters since it's the only one I can find that can fit in that area. Now my problem is that when I stick the screwdriver into that hole and start turning it either way nothing is happening. I had my lights one and pointing at a wall. I tried that method on the left and right headlights.
i do see a little yellow plastic nipple sticking out of the other end which looks like I can use some kind of tiny socket to turn, but I looked around and can't find a socket that small.

Try physically turning it with your fingers. I was able to just push mine down on either side of the wheel to get my adjustment. Do it at night, against a garage door.
Otherwise, you just need the right philips screwdriver if it's too tight to turn by hand.
