Actually thed did it inSeptember and October of 2005 to clear out the 8s.
They also had 2.9 for 72 months.

Then they did a 1000 gift card instead.

I never paid a dime of interest on mine.

Btw, someone said you can send extra payment in. It would actually serve you better to put the money in an interest bearing account. Every dime you send pays principal, so you might as well make interest on the extra principal you have available.

Oh yeah, and the 0 percent back in 2005 didn't have tough credit restrictions. They told me as long as you were above 680 you would be approved.

I'm not surprised to see 0% for 60 months thing happening. I don't think its about making room for the '09's. Most automakers US sales were down for September '08 by over 20% as compared to Sept. 07. Mitsu was off by 36.5%.

Reading the news, I love how people are still debating if the US is in a recession or not.

Back in 06 when I bought my IX it had the 10yr/100k mile warranty too. Is Mitsu still honoring that or is that something that has to be on the contract?

Only if there was confirmed info on the 2009.
I am sure I saw a thread about a dealer offering the base evo for 27999. Now I cannot find that thread.

why would they offer a program to sell more cars knowing that it will not work in helping them sell more cars?

If you have a decent credit score, you should be able to get that rate. contrary to common belief there over last couple of weeks, you can still get a loan.

This whole thing has me wondering if I should go trade my car in? IDK if the X is right for me. I think I'd miss the power my 8 makes. If the dealer was willing to give me a good trade I think I might go for it. Just don't know...

Any of you guys with a X want to chime in feel free...

I bought my MR a couple of weeks ago at the 2.9%/48 rate.

But, I just did the financing because I didn't want to move money around from brokerage accounts that day. I plan to pay it off in the next few months.

I traded in my 04 evo 8 for my X. Id say its worth it. It does feel a tad slower, but its still very fun and I love it. Overall a much more friendly daily driver. Both cars are great in my opinion though. I don't think you would regret getting a X, you can always make power, and it is shown the X can make it pretty easy.

I'm going to hate myself if this deal ends up going to the MR. Is there any indication this will happen?
