We're keeping the stereo in the car still. Right now we're weighing everything but we will put some stuff back to keep 'streetability' in the car, at least for a little while.

How much more is the dry carbon from the regular stuff?

I gave the drawing of the bracket I made to the engineering department. They are putting some finishing touches on it and getting it quoted for production.

The removal of the compressor, condenser, drier and lines dropped 21 lbs and the delete kit added 1 lb for a net savings of 20 lbs off the front of the car.

Its not perfect but its better than a lot of the carbon parts available. Some of the gaps are a bit larger than I would like to see. Overall, the fit is good in my opinion.

I think it would be nice of parts were left slightly oversize and you would finish the edges to get the gaps perfect.

To be honest, I believe these parts are dry carbon "look" and not actual dry carbon.

looking good. its hard to watch such a nice car being torn to pieces, but I know its for a good cause.

Awwww... come on now. I am not "tearing" the car apart. I am gently removing excess weight that will not be needed for its final use.

While it looks like its a huge pile of parts, it will soon be going back together and my guess is you will hardly be able to tell I removed weight.
