What to do?! dilemma, dilemma

Well here it is. Im happy with the X and the numbers is currently putting out. But we all know it could use a little more(numbers on sig). My goal is 400hp, if not there maybe a little shy. I know it can be done https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=373244 , but with more powa ill need a new clutch. Im at 5k miles right now and no sign of slippage. so i figure $1000 for all those mods plus a tune and maybe $1500 for a new clutch and install, $2500 total give or take. OR stay with what i got and go for show, rims, carbon front lip, etc. i can only do one or the other...at this time. any ideas?

I say put it in the motor. I would drive a primer gray EVO if it ripped like hell.

if you make it go, eventually you will need to replace other things that break. if you put it in show, you'll be a ricer. it is a fine line but i say a little of both. over time, you will hit both goals. good luck!

If you're in to just cruising the thing, go for the bling. If you're in to track-day'ing it. Spend the money on track time and suspension

How about a nice set of coilovers...then you'd be getting both in a way, the Xs look way better dropped IMO

Take the money and sign up for a driving school like Bondurant etc. It will be the best money you ever spent (after the Evo of course)

75% go 25% show! A spoonful of go and a pinch of show makes a perfect street car recipe!

I voted for all 3, because you made it so I could. So I changed your percents in no way what so ever!

thanks guy. ill probably start tracking it next year, my schedule sucks. speaking of coilovers do they really "improve" the handling of the X even more? cause right now i can take an off ramp saying 55 about 80, i think i can go faster. does lowering it really help?
