i dont understand why the mr is included in all the comparisons and not the gsr considering the mr is the luxury edition of the evo. it's a shame there isant aftermarket support

the cobalt is no joke. i am not sure which magazine i had read where there was a time attack.... i believe at button willow where a modified cobalt put down some impressive times. i driven one at a local track before and it was a lot fun. this will definitely give other FWD cars a challange. not a fan of the design though.

its funny how things works out sometimes...
So the cobalt is that fast. even out runs the IX MR on the same track.

In the C&D test at VIR, the Cobalt beat the MR around the track. In another test, I think Motortrend, the MR edged out the Cobalt by a couple hundredths at Laguna Seca.
Stock for stock, the Cobalt is essentially equal to the MR around a road course. Who leaves an Evo stock though? The Evo has much greater potential.
My nissan was 250whp FWD; putting down power was an issue![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
The Cobalt is the king of FWD cars right now though. It'll be interesting to see how the new Focus RS does in Europe, rumored to have 300hp with the 2.5L, 5-cylinder turbo from Volvo.
