How did the stock transmission, t-case, and axles hold up?

Congrats to AMS !!!

Is this the same car? This one is listed as 480whp on a 35R turbo.


The X in this thread was listed as 487hp, which I would assume to be around 390whp. Is that about right?

Stoptech 4 Corner big brake kit
RC Engineering 750cc injectors
buddy Club seats
Exedy Stage II clutch

I think that is about it. If I have left something out I am sorry...its a bit late here and the eyes are not what they used to be.

Thank you to all of our sponsors that helped with this build. We will do a full release on this next week with some details on the actual event and what we were up against.

looks like the little EVO X with a little work and can handle a GTR just fine

Well I guess that answers all the hype around the new GTR; JoJo where are you? Still going to get the GTR after these results?
Congratulations AMS!!!! What an effort in such a diverse and tough field of cars. These results demonstrate that with some modifications and excellent work a ~$35K car can outperform an ~$100k car (with mark ups). Awesome results!!!

Awesome work there AMS! Since I plan on a similar sized turbo in the spring it's definitely the level of performance I'm looking to get out of the car.

Yes, this is the same car. The reason for the HP drop was due to lack of fuel. We removed the prototype surge tank and installed it on a customers car prior to putting the 35R on the car. As Chris mentioned in the post, it would make more HP but he had to let out early due to fuel pressure dropping.

The 30R engine was flashed also.
