Edmunds gets AMS Evo X
Edmunds picked up an AMS Evo X from Mitsubishi. It is encouraging to see Mitsubishi getting more involved in the tuning community.

Aren't these mods the very same Mitsubishi likes to tar-and-feather owners of Evos for doing? Might this signal Mitsubishi softening their stance on warranty claims on "modified" cars? I'm gonna hope these guys have a breakdown on something to see if Mitsu covers it. They're gonna have to. If they don't, everyone will get to read how Mitsu delivered a "modded" car to them, and refused warranty coverage. This should be good...really good!

Very, very good point. Mitsu needs to state their warranty policy or should I say change in policy regarding "reasonable" mod's to their base vehicles. Buschur (BR series) did it but probably through a dealership(s), not Mitsu corporate. One final point and that is, it is in Mitsu interests and dealerships to offer these "FQ" cars and get the assoicated rewards upfront rather than to others. In the UK the FQ series are ~$6-7K over sticker for these mildly modified EVO's. That said, it may be in our financial best interest to keep the status quo i.e., we go to local tuners to upgrade our cars at the lowest possible cost since there is a lot of competition AND as others have said, "We are the cheapest SOB's in the world"!
