I don't think he's gettin raped if he was willing to pay that for the car. Maybe he could have got a little better deal but in the end that's what he was willing to pay to drive the car home. It's all relative. My girl thinks I'm getting raped cuz I spend $156 per tire. I know I'm not but to her that's waaay too much. It's all relative....

By my count, of the people who think he got a bad deal, according to profiles, only 4 actually own an EVO X and one of them claims to have gotten it loaded with extras for $34k otd. Backing out taxes and options, that is well under $30k for the car, actually close to $25k, if you consider $4k-6k in options and $2k in taxes, which means that he likely paid more. $40k otd loaded is not a smokin' deal but it is not an unreasonable price either.
