You say you already bought it..? Why ask if it's a good deal now? It's too late to do anything about it. All that matters is what you're willing to pay, and you paid $40k, so to you, it was worth it.

If its for a GSR thats alot, for a MR....well I guess thats okay. Either way, congrats on your purchase! GG is an awesome color. Good deal or bad, I bet you weren't thinking of it driving home from the dealer with that big smile on your face! lol

I'll ask since no one else is-what is the tax rate, and plates for the car?
Options? Did you trade anyhting in (roll over any neg equity from another loan?). Then I'll ask if they used KY or not

Yeah well, you guys are all being harsh. 40k OTD is after tax title and all that crap. If you have like an 8-9% sales tax and your paying an extra almost 1k for delivery, title, change of plates. then that really means he got the car for maybe like $36,5k-$37k. Which for a fully loaded MR is awesome. For a GSR that's still like 3k under MSRP.
oh, and not to mention anyone who paid 34-35 for their car and are financing a large portion of that will probably end up paying an extra 3-4 maybe even 5k in interest. So jokes about KY and getting raped pretty much apply to you also.

readmy above post, and I asked about the fees. $3k under msrp for a GSR? read your window sticker.....$36500 with 9% tax is at the $40k OTD-not including other fees, just tax.
financing $36k at 9% for 72 months is over a $10k finance charge, not 3-5k.
Its all in fun, some of us have asked if it was a GSR or MR, and what other fees were included......but maybe some of us like KY and getting raped
financing $36k at 9% for 72 months is over a $10k finance charge, not 3-5k.

Yeah, 36k at 9% for 72months sucks for finance. I was more thinking about a 4-5% interest rate for 48-60months with a sizeable downpayment. i mean. If you have no money to put down on the car and you can't qualify for a decent interest rate then you should probably realize that a 36k car is not for you.
