Id like to pick up an 08 but it seems the dealerships are offering ones with 15-20k miles used for the same pricing for what people are getting them new.

Im surprised that they arent holding their values as well as the Evo 9 did

if used ones are going for almost as much as new ones, they ARE holding their values well. i'm confused.

sorry i guess i worded it oddly.

Most of the private seller ones I see on the forum or far away from MI are going for around $25k and thats what bluebook has them priced at. Most Evo IX's cost the same price with low miles. I guess im just surprised to seem them be so much less after just 2 years. Early 09 most MR Evo 9s were still high 20s - 30k

The used prices are whacked out because of the fire sale on the 08's. Once the 08's dry up and people are back to paying 33k+ for their evos the prices should come back up a bit.

New 2010 prices are pretty firm at this moment, I went for an oil change last time and saw a few. The sales that I bought the car from said there isn't much room for negotiation since it is new. I am not sure about other states, but the prices are at least 40k OTD for GSRs with SSS in houston tx. They don't have the MR.. but i heard they are going for around 50 with the touring package.

I don't think so. I'm about to deal w/ some people around my neck of the woods to see if i can bring a MR or a GSR way under invoice. I doubt it since they are just getting them in.

Ok tell me if what is a reasonable offer to give to the dealer. 08 WW GSR 10k+ miles w/ sss, aero kit, fast key? Would 27k be too low? Dealer asking for 29995.

Ok so its mainly all around with prices like these. Private sales are going for around 25-26k

MD has 6% tax

Would u say 27 OTD w/ tax included? or is that asking for a angry salesman?

I would want to offer 27k + a old *** trade.

i just spoke with a dealer that had an 08 ww with 9k miles and sss package and the douchebag wouldn't sell it under $28k. it just depends how hungry the used car dealer is. i'm not desperate for another car right now, just had some extra cash, so I can wait till a good deal comes around or until mitsu offers some incentives on new ones.

Yea casper. They dont want to sell for less than 28k its pissing me off because I need a car by the end of this month. I really want a new one but don't wanna deal with that new pricing unless there are some good financing options.

Hell yeah - get it!

What are the details? i.e. color, options, etc.?
