35310 + taxes and tags - 500 for military..turned out to be 38k plus. still waiting for the "free" navi though =(. unfortunately i wasnt able to qualify for 0 percent so i paid 20k down and paid the rest a week later.

I was able to get a GG SSS 2010 GSR for $32,425 OTD, including military ($500) and customer loyalty ($1,000). Luckily, AD military pays no vehicle sales tax in Tennessee.

Lucky you... I got screwed over on customer loyalty, did get my military rebate, and was on Active Duty but had to pay tax... GREAT deal you got there (my '08 purchased in August of '09 had SSS + Aero and I paid $34,800 OTD after the $500 rebate).

Not true. 9.75% if you BUY the car (and drive it off the lot) in LA. I already registered it in IL and paid IL sales tax, only to get to LA and be greeted with an additional $2,800 in sales tax because my proof of IL sales tax wasn't enough to drive on Schwarzennegger's streets.

I still haven't gotten my IL sales tax back and going on 4 months after requesting it back. I still hate South Coast Mitsubishi for this.

I bought my Evo new at Sout Coast and paid a outrageous sales tax. When I drove it back up to WA and registered it..I still owed about $400.I paid around 10.3% in sales tax in WA.

Funny, because I was going to buy from SoCal Mitsu, but Sam never called me back and did not seem too interested in selling to me. Well, I took his "December Deals" post from the forum into my dealership and showed them what SoCal was offering; they dropped $4,500 off the sticker price on the spot.

Not an amazing deal but not bad either. I'd say go for it.
