yup all the east coast suck..maybe in FL u can find a little better of a deal..Sam is off on wed.. and he is hard to get ahold of..I usually call the dealership and then transfer to him..seems to be the best way to get ahold of him..he is a pretty busy guy. u might be better off buying from him and shipping the car urself thru DAS..900 from Cali to NC and that was in an ENCLOSED container..u can do it for 700 or so on a open truck...jus be patient... Ive searched everywhere until finally deciding to go with Cali..they got the best deals

Glad to hear you found one! And only $500 more than you originally wanted to spend is prolly worth it for being able to take immediate delivery, imo.

Maybe a dumb question.. but what's etching??

Thanks! The car is amazing & i'm coming from several years of Subaru's Just need to get use to the notchy shifter and light clutch pedal & i'm all set!

The etching.... some dealers try to add it on. I didn't pay extra for it and it makes insurance a tad cheaper.

Ended up buying a used 08 Evo X GSR w/29k mi for 23.5k + TTL. Car is is completely stock, and clutch is still strong so it doesn't seem it was beat on or tracked.

How Much Would You Pay for Low Miles

Say you were looking at two stock 2008 Evo X's. One has 5000 miles on it and one has about 17000.

Everything else being the same, how much is it worth to you to get the 5000 mile Evo instead of the 17000 mile one?

Yeah KBB and NADA are great for general guidelines. I was just wanting to see what real people who have Evos thought.

NADA:
5000 mi = $28500
17000 mi = $27800

KBB:
5000 mi = $31935
17000 mi = $31935

Most dealers and banks use NADA so I'd trust those numbers first personally.

I would pay that much for the car if it's extremely clean.

Offer them that price out the door (after taxes, title and lic) and see what happens.
