I'm going for 28-29k OTD on an SSS GSR.

I'm pretty sure dealer invoice is more like 31kish for a fully loaded GSR

No offense but you guys are crazy.... you think they give those cars away that dealership still needs to make money in order not to close their doors.. if u get that car at 32 out the door thats an insane deal your talkin about 3-4 grand under that ??? how much do you think they really make on those cars couse you just asked for a 20-25 percent discount of msrp

according to edmunds the invoice price for the vehicle you described is just over 37k. a fully loaded GSR gets pretty expensive......

i assumed you are in Florida and w/ 6% sales tax 35k OTD is a ridiculous deal. if the dealer actually offered you that you should take it.

The car business is not an industry to be in right now. The dealers will take almost anything reasonable just to move the 2008s out to make room for 2009s. $29K OTD is not impossible especially with dealerships that have 13+ Evos on there lots or maybe a few just to get them out. Maywood Mitsubishi in NJ has 13+ Evos. To get 29K OTD, you will have to search out of state. If I sell my 05 WRX and come mid-January should be a good time to get good deals. I've seen SSS and Interior Sports Package for low $30,000 and the MSRP is $36,000, but thats not including fees.

Nothing is never impossible in the automotive industry when you have the cash to back you up. You have to remember that they want to keep you as a long term customer. A few thousand off the current car that you buy just means that they will make more money when your ready to purchase another car later down the road.

Is there a minimum purchase price to qualify for 0% financing? I've seen it mentioned a couple times, but it seems ridiculous to see something like that.

Nope... 100% of the loan can be financed... You may have to pay for taxes or tags out of pocket... that may be up to the dealer...

Just how stringent is mitsubishi's financial body being with these 0% financing loans? I hope I don't run into a problem when I head into the dealership. My fico score is >770. The main reason that I am looking at the gsr is cause of the no interest financing.

You will be fine. I remember seeing the Mitsubishi qualification sheet at the dealer. It is pretty lax. 770 will be tier one credit no problem.

Thanks. With all the hoops that banks make people jump through these days to get a loan, this is good news.

I have a fico score of 730 and I got approved. You should not have a problem at all.

i got $1400 under invoice, but only because I know the mgr at the dealer... they rarely ever go under the invoice that much.
