Around how much is a good cash deal for a 11 GSR SS/SL before tax? I am considering to drive to my friends place in NJ, buy the car at a local dealer and drive it back to Canada.

Is it a 2010? Or did you mean you got with SS, SL and Navi? (2011's don't have sss package anymore).

it's a 2010. I got SSS with Navi. I wasn't able to qualify for the $2000 rebate from Mitsubishi. so the car itself was 34K. after tax registration, finance and all that shenanegans car was 38K out the door oh and the Negative Equity from the 350Z i traded it in. but that was only 500$

OKay. I get it. Why didn't you get the 2k rebate? Did you take 0% financing?

Just picked up a wicked white 2011 MR with everything except navi in jersey for 39,000 + TTL. I was considering trading in my 03 weightless white but was only offered 8,500 for it (no good). So I sold it privately. It's crazy how I paid exactly 10,000 more for the MR than I did for the GSR in 04

I know, prices for these Evo's (with options) start getting extremely high in price. The msrp for a 2011 GSR with ss, sl, navi, aero, and sport package is almost $43,000!!!! Thats crazy I guess. I understand you have to pay to play but damn, 43k for a car that still is going to have a lot of raddles, cheap paint, bad relays, ect, its shocking to me. I dunno. They are awesome cars but I don't understand why mitsu makes these options so high in price. Our brand new Mercedes C350 loaded wasnt even that much, almost, but not as much. Pretty crazy I think.

My Credit is still fairly new as far as car history goes. and since my House is paid off it didn't come up on the credit score. so only things i had on my credit where a couple credit cards, and the 350Z. which put me at a 688. Sam said i did not qualify for either or, on top of that the special he had on the SSS package did not include navi. which he hooked it up with.

2011 MRT Pricing question

Looking at an MRT, brand new, grey. Can anyone give me some input on the amount the dealer might waiver? What did you pay? No sales tax here at least! The car is priced at 44,630 with nav and interior options, same exact price as Mistu's website. I'd like to get it closer to 42k at least. Thoughts? Thanks!

I'd personally go with the SS, instead of the Aero Kit, but regardless of that, the price doesn't sound too bad.
