What's invoice price 38,000 and something??

Hopefully I am getting an MR with the technology package and aero kit this Friday. If I do I am quite sure I will post something here.

sure, call nashville hallmark auto

another thing to think about aside all the obvious pains that come with a brand new model is that when mitsubishi releases 2010 model as early as june (i heard) your 08 evoX will be 2 years old then,

It's just ridiculous that most of these cars are over a year old and the dealers are trying to get MSRP for them. Come on, these are '08 MY that you are trying to sell in 2009!

I need to find a dealer who isn't an *** and is willing to sell these for fair market value.

Knowing when the '09s will come would help. I heard November though, who told you June? A reliable or knowledgeable source?

There's a Mitsu dealer here near San Francisco that has two base GSR's for sale, silver and red, and they're down $7771 off msrp. I think they're "asking" only $26888 before taxes (which includes the $500 military and $500 mitsu loyalty rebate if you meet it) so who knows what they'll actually take when they're asking that low. Obviously, they have a lot of MR's and GSR's on the lot sitting unsold.

$27888 before taxes and rebates?! Wow, maybe I should drive up to San Fran. Which dealer was it?

Best dealer price I can get here in Vegas is around $29,795...

$29,795 GSR Base
+ $2339.96 Tax 7.75%
+ $398.00 Doc Fee
+ $28.25 Title
= $32561.21 OTD

Any thoughts on this OTD price?

as many have pointed out, including post started by a dealership, there will be NO 09 model year evoX. the next model year in the US will be 2010. I spoke to a couple of dealers and one told me that 2010 will be available in june, the other in september.

my point was that if are are to buy 2008 now, when the 2010 comes out June/Sept timeframe, your 2008 will be considered a 2 year old car in a matter of few months, use that as part of your conversation when shopping for the 08s now,

i hope that cleared up what i was trying to say

Does the "in service" date for the 2008's still on the lot start while they sit on the lot unsold? I'm wondering for warranty purposes if the bumper to bumper warranty is already running on these unsold EvoX's.

i wouldn't think the warranty would start until the car is sold and driven off the lot.

I agree, from what I remember the warranty starts from the first date of purchase and not the production date.

If your going to get a new car just remember to get GAP & ITCHING very good as I have this on my car. So if you car gets totalled GAP pays off the difference your insurance doesn't pay, and ITCHING pays you back what you invested in your car if it's stolen.

As for warrenties, I don't get any because pretty much anything you do to modify it just a little bit voids your warrenty, it sucks but its true.

FYI
Just got home with mine from Don Herring Mitsui (Jason Bell) and got 37000+TTL for PB MR + Tech and some extra floor mats with 0% for 60 months.

I felt like I got a good deal and Jason was real easy guy to work with.
