If $4k is holding up the deal, call your DM and see if they can improve an incentive to move the unit. The best I've seen them approve is an additional $2k discount, but YMMV. Might slow things down by a day or 2, but if it gets the deal done, that's not asking much.

So, is it a decent deal for the chicagoland area? I don't want to miss the 0% financing, or pay $1k to ship a car from South Coast or something.

Can anybody tell me how those 0% APR offers work? I understand 0% car financing offers by banks and credit union, but how can a dealership offer 0% APR, unless it's through the manufacturer's financing company. (example, Ford Motor Credit, Toyota Financial Services, etc.)

Do the local dealerships make deals with local banks to offers these deals?

Just picked up my 2012 WW Evolution X GSR from Paramus NJ Mitsubishi Dealer,
they have more than 10 of them in stock. Huge selection of colors and packages
and the sales man Mike Z he will do everything to help you drive home the car.
If you are in the North East region and looking for EVO X this is the best place to purchase your car, they offered me the best trade in value (same as KBB) and lowest price for the EVO X excellent Service and friendliest people there.

via Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America (MMCA), which is backed by Center One Financial.

The 0% on an Evo really has no strings attached, You pretty much have to be a 730 credit score and above. or have a current MMCA loan. to get the tier bump to the 0% . If you dont qualify for the 0% there are other great rates available.

With other vehicle's Mitsubishi will not give you the 0% and the rebate or dealer cash ... It is a either or situation.

Hope this helps.

I found a WW 2011 GSR for a little less than $30,000. It is used and has apparently been in an accident. I plan on trading my 2011 WRX in for it, but shouldn't the price be lower? It doesn't have the SSS package and it is also 3 hours away from me.

me and my girl went and test drove the evo today. i like it. 2012 gsr with sss leather mercury gray . they were wanting 39900 .they came close to what i wanted for my trade , just a 1000 below what i wanted , no problem. i offered um 36k on the evo and a 7k down payment. guy told me the profit margin on the car is only 1800. so he couldnt go any lower on the price of the car. i thanked him for his time and was very nice and drove away. nice people at miami lakes auto mall , i just guess its hard to sell cars in miami dade county . guess ill make a trip to orlando .
